"Turning Tragedy Into Triumph"
A safe place to grieve. A strong place to heal.
Because no one should ever have to grieve alone.

Mourning Moms was founded in January 2024 by Angelia White after the heartbreaking loss of her 22-year-old son, Dontavius White, to gun violence on June 19, 2022.
After navigating grief and attending counseling, Angelia realized something was missing — a space where mothers like her could truly connect, understand one another, and heal together.
Through her journey, she encountered many grieving mothers suffering in silence. Mourning Moms was created so no one has to grieve alone.
